I create this blog with the desire to share my travel experiences, inspire others to see more of the world, and provide practical guides and advice on how to do so.
We have such a short time on this earth, and good health, and fortune are not guaranteed. I encourage others not to wait for some unknown, undefined time ‘later’ to live a rich and fulfilling life but to embrace the world of travel and experience more now.
Most of my adventures result from dreaming of being anywhere other than the mundane and the familiar, born of the desire to rummage around ruined temples, explore the deep blue depths of distant oceans, hike through jungles and climb volcanos.
Fuelled by the yearning for adventure, a passion for cultures other than my own and the constant desire to be A Far Cry From Here, this site was born.
